Personal Profile
Pastor Green has served the Lord in many capacities since he answered the call to ministry in 2004. As the current pastor of Evans Memorial, he is in his second year serving. Rev. Green’s first appointment as Pastor was at Stanley Chapel AME Zion Church in Willimantic, CT for three years and then at Price Memorial AME Zion Church in Pittsfield, MA for five years. Pastor Green believes that the Gospel is the Word of unto salvation and he spreads the Gospel to the lost sheep who won’t know salvation unless someone preaches to them. Green has a love for music and a passion for working with children, golfing, and fishing. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Norwich Community Development Corporation and on the CT Pardon Team. Pastor Green has his Bachelor’s in Health Administration and is certified in CPR, TCI, and CARE. Rev. Green currently works as Supervisor II at Waterford Country School and has been for the last ten years.
